what is systemli?

systemli is a german collective that has run privacy infrastructure for activists and ngos since 1999 - mail, cloud, pads and voice conferencing operated on donations and a political commitment to anonymity. their services are built for groups that expect surveillance: drafting committees, media collectives, union organizing.

the collective publishes official onion addresses for its main services: the etherpad instance for collaborative writing, a privatebin pastebin with browser-side encryption, a mumble server for voice - one of the very few official voice-chat onions anywhere - and a nextcloud suite for files, calendars and contacts.

know what retired: systemli shut down its public xmpp service in august 2023, so no chat onion exists - mumble is the voice channel now. every address tracked here is published on systemli.org's own onion-services page and re-checked continuously.

before you trust any of this

  • .onion addresses are long on purpose. one wrong letter = someone else's server.
  • if a service matters to you, cross-check its address against its own clearnet site or PGP-signed announcements.
  • a green badge here means "reachable", never "trustworthy". we report reachability only.
