Brave[official]

what is brave?

brave is the privacy-first browser with native tracker blocking and a built-in tor window for onion and private browsing. whatever one thinks of its crypto side products, its engine work and privacy defaults have made it a mainstream fixture - and a tor-aware one.

the company practices what it ships: the entire brave.com site - documentation, downloads, research - is mirrored as an official v3 onion, advertised through the standard onion-location header and listed on the tor project's community index.

the address tracked here is that official mirror. grabbing a privacy browser through the tor network is a tidy loop: nothing upstream records the interest.

before you trust any of this

• .onion addresses are long on purpose. one wrong letter = someone else's server.
• if a service matters to you, cross-check its address against its own clearnet site or PGP-signed announcements.
• a green badge here means "reachable", never "trustworthy". we report reachability only.
